Dear Alex,

These are quilts I’ve made in honor of my grandmother, Audencia Lopez.  I have had a bag full of aprons, table runners and doilies that were hers for quite a few years.  I recently learned how to sew and came up with the idea that I could probably preserve these by making them into a quilt.

Putting them together brought back many memories of her cooking and her wisdom.  These quilts are respectively named Momo’s Memories 1 & 2.

Oh dear Nina,

How absolutely wonderful for you to share/blog this with me and the people that come to read free Feng Shui tips on my www.PowerFengShui.info/blog

I am so thankful for you to share this as it will give others the fabulous concept to preserve those precious memories and enjoy them in a whole new way.  Delightful, so very delightful. The picture of your grandparents is wonderful. Just love it.

Appreciate you so very much for sharing this with me and all of the others that will come to read about them. You are so precious and I thank you for doing this.

May God bless you with all of your “Creative Fire” energy and wonderful memories preserved.

Love and blessings,

Alex

God bless all the Grandmothers and all of the precious memories they left us with. It is my belief that if your parents are too busy or indifferent to you that God Himself will PROVIDE SOMEONE, USUALLY A GRANDPARENT to love you in their place. HE always sends someone to love us and help us through life, and when they are gone, their memories of love linger on.

When you are lonely, sit in a quiet place and go back to a loving memory you shared with them, and FEEL THE LOVE. It will take you through many moments in your life when it seems hard.

Respectfully,

Rev. Alexandra Shaw
