Quotation Ch’i Art
Einstein’s famous quotation of “Only a life lived for others is a life worth living,” adorns the Wisdom and Career/Life’s Destiny area of the kitchen wall space in the home of my dear friend, Gerrie Anne in Peru, Indiana. Inspirational quotes placed in this area will uplift those that read them as they pass through the kitchen. The center of the entrance wall is the Career/Life’s Destiny position of the Bagua (See Feng Shui Power Key link), and the extreme left side entry of the doorway opens into the Wisdom area as one enters the kitchen. Gerrie Anne had a faux finish expert treat the wall and hand letter the quotation’s script and sign “Albert Einstein” as the finishing touch.
Standing in front of this Quotation Ch’i Art, there seems to be a feeling as though he wrote it on the wall, signed it and has just left. Not only is the message poignant, it produces an energy all its’ own for us to ponder. When viewing Quotation Ch’i Art, the individual is experiencing the Ch’i energy as though it is coming to life around them, simply by the reading of the quotation. What great Ch’i energy to inspire others and ignite thought!
A wise man once told me to be very careful of the role models I chose because my life would take on their qualities and in the end; I would look just like them. He did not mean physically, but the morals, values and belief systems of the role model would be those qualities I would be embracing in my lifetime. “Who do you want to be like when it is all said and done? Who is your hero? What do you want to imitate?” he asked. “It’s all up to you.”
Examine your thoughts to locate your personal inspiration and use Quotation Ch’i Art in any area you might need uplifting of wisdom. Children’s’ rooms, libraries, family rooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, or even the blank wall of the laundry room could be a palette for Quotation Ch’i Art. We are standing in front of the art work that has generated so many great inspirations to all of those that have had the pleasure to view it in Gerrie Anne’s lovely home. This excellent idea can be adapted to almost any room, for very little expense and a little bit of planning and art work. You could share this project with your children and make it an adventure to find just the right quotes that touch their hearts and minds. Think about your role models and what motivating inspirations and impressions they left on you. Teach your children about positive motivation for their lifetimes.
All of us have people we look up to for their wisdom and genius, whether we ever met them or not. Lives are so precious and easily influenced by so much outside the home. Use your own genius to create a masterpiece that will inspire all that see it.
